Purposes and legal basis
Each purpose has its own legal basis under Article 6 of the GDPR:
- — Answering and assessing your enquiry — pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- — Preparing and performing a project contract — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- — Keeping a record of enquiries and correspondence — legitimate interest in managing the studio (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- — Complying with tax, accounting and professional obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- — Analytics cookies and any commercial communication — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.

Starting a project form
The form exists so that an enquiry can be assessed properly before any proposal is discussed. The investment range is requested only to judge whether expectations, the scale of the intervention and the solutions to be developed are compatible. It is not a fee proposal and it is not shared with third parties.
Attached files are used solely to understand the property and are kept with the enquiry record.
05
Retention
Data is kept only for as long as the purpose requires:
- — Enquiries that do not lead to a project: [INSERT PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] from the last contact.
- — Client files and project documentation: [INSERT PERIOD] after the end of the commission, for professional liability and archive reasons.
- — Invoicing and accounting records: the period required by Portuguese tax law.
- — Consent records: for as long as the consent is valid, plus the period needed to demonstrate it.
06
